Jack Frost is a cross between True Albino Teacher and APE, combining characteristics from both parents. The result is an intermediate morphology – thicker stems than typical cubensis but not quite as dense as pure APE, with beautiful albino caps and distinctive blue-tinged gills that make it instantly recognizable. Their appearance alone makes people stop and stare. When you look at them closely, the caps look shiny and snowy. They may even show crystal-like shapes on top. That is why people call them “Jack Frost”. They look like winter. When Jack Frost mushrooms grow, they often have white stems, white caps, and sometimes blue gills once they get older.

This mushroom comes from two other well-known strains. Those strains are True Albino Teacher and Albino Envy. The Jack Frost mushroom strain has very unique features because of its strong lineage.
